Easter Seals Shootout Winners Announced
During the week of January 18, in between taking mid-term exams, the Mount basketball players took part in the annual Easter Seals Shootout. In the competition, each girl shoots baskets consecutively for three minutes with her teammates rebounding the balls for her. This year's winners were:
Varsity - Allison Baker, '12 with 47 baskets. Allison also won last year for the freshwoman team.
Junior Varsity - Meredith Sharka, '11 with 33 baskets. Meredith has won for the third year in a row.
Freshwoman - Emily MacNeil, '13 with 22 baskets.
The players raised $806.00. Congratulations girls!
