Mount Students Kick off Catholic Schools Week on Live TV
On Monday, February 1, 2010, students from Mount Saint Joseph Academy helped to kick off Catholic Schools Week by participating as the featured worshipping community at the live daily mass broadcast by Boston's CatholicTV. Seventeen students together with Director of Campus Ministry, Katy Denning, Campus Ministry Intern, Gregory Vigliotta and our regular presider/chaplain Fr. Jack Rathschmidt, OFM Cap. gathered to celebrate Catholic Schools! The entire mass can be viewed on-line at CatholicTV.com. Christina Mulcahy, '10, beautifully proclaimed the first reading. Freshwoman, Anamaria Ronayne, was the altar server for the mass and juniors, Ciara Prendergast and Meredith Sharka, read the prayers of the faithful. After the Mass the students were treated to a tour of the Catholic TV studios.
