Admissions Office Welcomes Newly Accepted Students
On Tuesday, February 9 and Tuesday, February 23 Mount Saint Joseph Academy hosted a Welcome Reception for the newly accepted members of the Class of 2014. Current students and parents, as well as members of our faculty and staff welcomed the "rising freshwomen" at the evening event.
Caroline Davidson '13, Medhanit Tadesse '13 and Gabriella Aragon '10 shared their memories of how they felt when applying to MSJA, as well as their subsequent experiences as they began their high school career and settled in to find their individual place within the Mount community. Lindsay McSweeney '10 gave an in-depth video presentation about life at MSJA. The Class of 2014 participated in some games, and refreshments were enjoyed by all who attended.
As our new families were leaving, many were heard to say: "those girls spoke from their hearts, that is what I want my daughter to become."
