Mount Saint Joseph Academy Annual Fund
On September 7, 2010, Mount Saint Joseph Academy celebrated its 125th Anniversary. Founded and sponsored by the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, in 1885 the Mount opened its doors to 11 young women, who were the first to benefit from the dedication and commitment of these Sisters to our school. Over the years, many young women from Boston and surrounding cities and towns have been educated at the Mount. The mission, to provide a quality Catholic education that transforms young women of promise into women of excellence, has served them and the communities where they live and work well. Among our Alumnae are those who held steadfast in the Mount tradition with grandmother, mother and daughter all attending. We count among our graduates, those in the fields of medicine, law, education, business and the arts. No matter their path in life, they are a true testament to the leadership qualities and commitment to service learned here.
The Mount is an accredited college preparatory, Catholic, all girls' high school in the City of Boston. Our students represent diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds with 95% of our graduates pursuing higher education degrees. We have a dedicated faculty with advanced degrees, a new state-of-the-art World Language Lab, newly renovated science lab and offer Advanced Placement courses. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of providing a quality education for our young women. The support of the Mount community has helped us to bridge the tuition gap, as well as to fund the many extras that help us promote academic and person excellence in our students.
Giving to the Mount:
2011 Mount FundThe Mount Fund generates unrestricted monies in support of the school's areas of greatest need. It is the most common way alumnae, parents, past parents and friends provide an essential supplement to tuition income, as well as the necessary resources to offer students the best possible education experience.
A successful Mount campaign is a team effort and every gift, regardless of the amount, makes a difference and every student benefits from your generosity.

- Matching Gift
A matching gift is a wonderful way to double or triple your gift. A list of matching gift companies is available through the Mount Advancement Office or check with your employer or your spouse's employer. - Gift of Stock

Gifts of Remembrance
A Gift of Remembrance is a wonderful way to recognize someone special in your life or remember a loved one or dear friend. Names of the deceased are included in our Book of Life and remembered by staff and friends in daily prayer. An acknowledgement is sent to the individual being honored or the family of the loved one.
Gifts-in-Kind
