Mount Family Association

The Mount Family Association (MFA) is an organization for the parents of currently enrolled students at Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Brighton Massachusetts. The MFA works with the school administration to plan events and other community-building projects to benefit all Mount families.

Goals of the MFA

• To facilitate parent-to-parent communication with all families at Mount Saint Joseph Academy. One of the ways we strive to meet this goal is to publish the Student Directory. The most recent Directory was published in November, 2008.



• To provide Ambassadorship of Students and Student Life at Mount Saint Joseph Academy within all communities touched by the young women of Mount Saint Joseph Academy. Members of the MFA are actively involved in Open Houses at the school and participate in Catholic High School Fairs and other recruitment activities for prospective students.



• To sponsor "Time Together" Social Events for all families at Mount Saint Joseph Academy. By sponsoring social events for Mount students, families, and parents we hope to encourage students, families, and parents to be connected to the Mount, and relax and have fun together. Some of the activities the MFA sponsors are the Cafe Guiseppe Spaghetti Supper in the school cafeteria, a Wine and Cheese Adult Social, and other student activities during the academic year.

The MFA meets on the first Thursday of each month to plan these activities and discuss new possibilities. We welcome new people with fresh ideas who are willing to work to bring these plans to fruition.  Please check out our schedule of Parent Events.
